Janet is Emma Croker's mum, and told us the following about Emma's experience with the club:

Emma has been with the club since she was 8. She appears to be a natural swimmer but through training hard, listening to her coaches and persevering when things get tough she has had great success with the club.

She has shown determination, dedication and attends all the sessions. She has learnt that through hard work good things happen and has taken this approach through her school achievements too. She enjoys the social side of being part of the club and has formed strong friendships with the other swimmers. During the pandemic lockdown, her Squad has remained in contact with each other via social media and have supported each other.

She gets on well with the Head coach, Keith who has supported and guided her to achieve a silver medal at the British Championships and she has qualified to attend the British Swimming Trials in London.
