The club was established in 1977 to coincide with the building of the Castle Sports Complex, which remains to this day the home of the club. South Lincs has been at the forefront of swimming in the heart of Lincolnshire for over 40 years.
Based in Spalding, the club caters to swimmers of all ages from those just learning to swim, up to those with Olympic dreams. We have our own teaching programme, Junior Dolphins, that feeds into the five squads of South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club.
South Lincs can boast numerous Lincolnshire County Champions amongst its athletes, East Midlands Regional medallists, National Open Water qualifiers, Swim England Summer National finalists and British Championships medallists.
South Lincs is a small, but fiercely competitive club and is working towards becoming the performance club in Lincolnshire, regularly producing regional medallists and National qualifiers.
The club is fortunate to have its own clubhouse which is run by volunteers and provides an excellent opportunity for swimmers to socialise. The clubhouse operates on a Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings serving breakfast to swimmers and parents following training sessions. It is also open in the afternoons for the swimmers to meet prior to their evening training sessions.
