 Club Volunteers

The club is run through the help of a band of parent volunteers. The club is always looking for willing helpers. At the moment we have the following jobs available along with other ongoing opportunities;

  • Club Press Officer; A vacancy has come available for a club press officer to help promote the club,liase with the press and spread the word of how well our club and swimmers are doing. If you think this is something you are able to do or would like to try, please talk to Mark Willis or any of the committee members.chairperson@slcsc.co.uk. Ne experince necessary just an ability to communicate well and a postive outlook on life!

  • The Clubhouse: Why not help out in the clubhouse when breakfast is being served to  the swimmers;washing up,taking orders or even cooking? Please see noticeboard section or e-mail  Lorraine at clubhouse@slcsc.co.uk

  • Become an Official ; Officials are those folks dressed in white that you see on poolside at all swimming galas. Without them galas can't function. We have a constant requirement for swimmer's parents, and older swimmers, to train as new officials. Please e-mail secretary@slcsc.co.uk if you are interested in training.

  • Become a coach; the club is  often short of coaches for training sessions or just people to help supprt the coaches. If you are intereted talk to Callum or e-mail secretary@slcsc.co.uk to find out more about training and qualifications.
